Out Now: Eagles, LEGACY

As we hurtle toward the holiday season, it’s a good time to start taking stock of what new releases will be out there for you to give as gifts to the music lovers in your life, and as of today, Rhino has released a new set which brings together everything ever recorded by one of the most popular bands of all time: the Eagles.

This new set, entitled LEGACY, is being released in two versions:

• The CD version, which includes 12 CDs – that’s seven studio albums, three live albums, and a singles & B-sides compilation – as well as the Hell Freezes Over DVD and the Farewell Tour: Live from Melbourne Blu-ray.
• The vinyl version, which includes 15 LPs.

Sorry, but the DVD and Blu-ray aren’t included in this one. (Fortunately, they’re still available for individual purchase.) On the other hand, something that is included in both sets is a 54-page hardbound book filled with artwork, memorabilia, and rare and previously-unseen photos from throughout the band’s career.
