Grateful Dead Livestream Event DEAD STUDIES: THE WONDERS OF DARK STAR

Please join us for the first installment of “Dead Studies,” a series that promises deep dives into the mysterious and beloved world of the Grateful Dead. We’ll begin with an exploration of the song “Dark Star,” hosted by Musicologist Dr. Graeme Boone, live from the Arne Slettebak Planetarium at OSU. Dr. Boone will provide an introductory lecture on the songs structure and evolution, followed by a guided tour of the legendary 4/8/72 “Dark Star,” set to the visuals of a planetarium show.
